‘Historical Societies’ is a recent series shot by Gary Sheppard.
Gary tells IPM: “These ‘societies’ exist all around the world, with their hobby being to re-create stitch-perfect replicas of uniforms and equipment used by various armed forces in past conflicts. The most popular choice being those from WW2. These shots were taken using flash in a pine plantation on the outskirts of Lithgow, Australia.
Gary has really captured the detail and dedication. He tells us that a second series is underway, we can’t wait to see it.
